Teletskoye Lake also known as the Golden Lake is the largest, the most famous and also the pearl in Altay Mountains. Being largest, you can expect up to 325m depth, 5km wide and 78 km long. It is situated more than 430 meters above the sea level. The mountain ridges that it lies between are the Al-tyntu and the Korbu. Lake Teletskoye is right on the junction of Sailughem Mountains and Western Sayans. It has a high lake transparency of up to 14 meters. At Korbu, is the infamous Korbu Waterfall. More than seventy rivers flow into the Lake Teletskoye and amongst them the largest tributaries is the Chulyshman River. Sailughem Mountains is a mountain range in the Southeastern part of the Altai Mountains.

 Mountain Shoria

Gornaya Shoria or the Mountain Shoria is on the eastern side of the Altay Mountains. To the southern part is the Kemerovo Oblast. Shors people lives here. Sometimes, they are known as Shorians or Mras-Su Tatars in the 17th and the 18th centuries. River Mras-Su is a tributary of the Tom River of 338 kilometers in length. In part of your travel, you can plan your itinerary to see this beautiful part of Russia. The nearest city is Novokuznetsk and at first, this city was called Kuznetsk. During the Stalin period from 1932 to 1961, it was named after Stalin called Stalinsk. Here, the notable monuments are the Vladimir Mayakovsky Monument and the USSR Nations Friendship Monument. If you have more time, you should also check out the Novokuznetsk Drama Theater and the Mettalurgov Avenue. To enjoy a panoramic view on Novokuznetsk in the summer, you can plan your trip to the Old Kuznetsk and visit the Kuznetsk Fortress.

This national park located at the south of Kemerovo and of Tashtagol district has five forestries. Its nature zone is of mountain taiga of complex and strongly partitioned river valleys mountain side. There are separate alps and it is about 500 to 800 meters above sea level. There are reservoirs other then the net of rivers and springs. The main sources are atmospheric precipitation and the subterranean waters. Soils are mainly the sodpodzol soils. You are recommended to take the tourists routes such as the Mras-su-Ust-Kabyrza, the Ust-Kabyrza, Sosnovka-Tashtagol or even the Tashtago-Kabuk. Check out also the twenty-five monuments of nature, six being the most prominent are the Waterfall Saga which is a hydrologic monument of nature. The other is the Kizasskie caves which is the geological monument of nature. The Hope or the Nadzhda cave, the monument to a Soldier, the Singing elephant rock and the Vaucluse ‘Kabuksky’ are all worth taking a look.
