The famous Russian city of Vladivostok has many attractions, we could obviously enumarate more than three of them, but today we want to present you what we think that are the most important historical attractions, which are usually visited by the tourists that come here.

The top 3 historical attractions of the city include the S-56 Submarine Museum, that can be visited by tourists on the street, the Monument to Soviet soldiers on the Bortsov Revolutsy Market in the historical center of Vladivostok, and the Renaissance White House that is hosting today the  Regional Central Administrationand and the City Hall of Vladivostok.

One of the most visited tourist attractions in the city of Vladivostok is the S-56 Submarine Museum.The boat was built in 1942 and was transformed into a museum after the crew managed to sink four enemy ships in war. The bravery of the soldiers was honored by the Red Army, and they were awarded with the title of Guardians, and the commander of the submarine, Gl Shchedrin, received the decoration of Hero of the Soviet Union.

The S-56 Submarine Museum in Vladivostok was opened to the public In 1975. The visit program is daily from 10:00-18:00, and the price of a ticket is 50 rubles for adults and 25 rubles for children.

The Monument to Soviet soldiers in Vladivostok

The Monument erected to Soviet soldiers in the Far East is one of the most important symbols of the city. It was built in the late nineteenth century, with money donated by the Municipality. Most of the statues are located on a pedestal with a height of about 10 meters, on top it of being the statue of a Russian soldier with a flag in hand.

The monument is one of the top 3 historical attractions of Vladivostok, a landmark for the tourists that visit the city, there being organized a market of antiques every Friday.

The White House of Vladivostok

In the historical center of Vladivostok, on the Revolusty Bortsov market, close to the Monument of Fighters from Far East, on the Svetlanskaya street at number 22, is one of the most beautiful buildings in town, the White House.

The building was made in Renaissance in the late nineteenth century. The White House of Vladivostok has ten stories and is one of the most beautiful buildings in the Russian Federation. The White House can be visited by tourists only once a year, when the city days are celebrated, the entry being free.
